My elderly mother was scammed into purchasing almost $4k worth of useless skincare products at one of those temporary (seasonal) pop up shops st the mall. It is an independent distributor that runs the store and the manufacturer of the product takes no responsibility
Do these transient pop up stores fall under the chapter 93 section 48 rule that says businesses at temporary locations need to provide a three day notice of cancellation st time of purchase?
The receipt says no refunds- exchanges only but how could there be any exchanges when the business is unceremoniously leaving by end of month? There was no notice of the store being temporary although I was told by mall mgt-/ thanks
