MA Statute of Repose for Contractors

We had a casualty loss on our home. The fire investigator has determined it was from an improvement to the house that was installed by my husband who is a CSL and owns his own company. Our personal insurance is now looking for his company's GL insurance information to potentially subrogate the claim. Wouldn't the Statue of Repose for contractors cover him company as the real improvement was first used in 2010 and substantially complete in 2011- which is beyond the six year look back for claims against a contractor? That being said, do we need to furnish our personal insurer with this information?
