I moved in to my building of Nov 2014 and received a locker in April 2015. The management company for my building posted signed to label lockers (which are wooden lockers in the basement of the building) with name and unit number as they would be cleaning out those not labeled at the end of May 2015. I labeled my locker clearly with name and unit next to lock on the unit which had my items in mid April 2015. I went to add something to my locker in the first week of June 2015 to find that the lock had been cut and the items removed. I contacted the management company in hopes of finding my personal items, but they claim they claim they disposed of them since they thought the locker and items within to be abandoned. Is there any recourse that I can take against the management company?
