Below is a list of frequently asked questions (FAQ) along with answers about The Forum for Massachusetts Law and how we interact between Lawyers and our readers.
Are the listings really free?
Yes, the listings in the Attorney Directory are free. Some attorneys choose to pay for banner advertisements within specific content, such as “Divorce Law.” However, the listings are free and no credit card or other billing information is required to create the listing.
Why must I email The Editor after creating my listing?
NOTHING gets published on The Forum until it is reviewed. This rule is meant to protect our attorneys from having their name and image on the same page or site as ANY form of inappropriate content. Other than notifying The Editor of the fact that your listing is ready to be published, you need have no further contact with us.
Do the listings work to create business for attorneys?
Yes, but there is a lot of competition on the Web. Attorneys who participate in The Forum by answering questions find more readers migrating to their site. When attorneys answer a question, their image and contact information is seen right next to the answer.
How much visibility is my listing able to receive?
On average, the MA Law Forum website receives close to 20,000 visits per month. The Find a Lawyer section is viewed hundreds of times each month by readers located in Massachusetts. Depending on how built out your profile is, and how much engagement you provide in response to questions, you will have the ability to connect with large numbers of Massachusetts users.
