Well thank you very much.. You have in a few paragraphs helped me more than some long winded people i know..
My brother was with us when the will was changed... So i do not see him wanting any hand it later.. MUCH LATER i hope..
Yes i live in MA.. And the property value at present is under 1MM.. However im not sure what may happen in the future.
Im going to print out what youve suggested..
My mothers wish was to keep this house in the family.. And we pretty much new my brother has no intrest.. His words..
And i would be more than willing to have us both own it...
