Hello, I am wanting to know if the MA landlord and tenant law is enforced properly. My landlord has gone past her 30days to give me back my 1400.00 deposit. She also never deposited it in the bank or gave me a 15day condition of the apartment when we moved in or out. Now she has totally redone the apartment stating that its because of my family living there. We have been there for 3 yrs almost. I left the unit in better condition then she gave it to me in. I want to take her to court but want to know if the law is all talk or does it really enforce it. I was smart enough to take pictures before and after I moved in.

Yes, the housing courts enforce tenant's rights vigorously. Further, the housing specialists are very helpful.
