I got a deep cut at work while takin out trash (from a can lid). I needed 18 stiches. Apprently I was alergic to the material for the stiches and didn't know about this till they were removed. They had to reopen the cut in order to remove the stiches. I am now left with a nasty scar that is approximatly 2" long and about 1/4" wide. The nurse at the ER told me I should get a lawyer because I would be able to make a claim for the scar.

Would this be something worth looking into getting a lawyer for?? or would it probably be just a waste of time?
