MY LANDLADY SERVED ME WITH A NOTICE BACK IN MAY THAT SHE IT IS HER INTENTION TO TERMINATE MY TENANCY, SHE WANTS TO GIVE THE APT TO HER TWO JOBLESS SONE WHO ARE IN COLLEGE. ALSO SHE IS USING THE FACT THAT I HAVE A DOG, WHICH THE OTHER TWO TENANTS HERE ALSO HAVE DOGS TO MAKE ME LEAVE NOW SHE WANTS ME TO CONTINUE TO PAY HER RENT BUT I ALSO HAVE TO SAFE FOR THE NEXT APT. NOW I ALSO HAVE TO KIDS. CAN I WITH HOLD HER RENT WITH OUT GETTING INTO ANY KIND OF TROUBLE?

Sorry, but assuming you are a tenant at will (no lease) the landlord has the right to end that tenancy with proper notice.  The facts you describe would not entitle you to withhold rent, and if you do you will likely make things more difficult for yourself.  I would start looking for an apartment.  When you get to court, explain your position to the judge and see if you can get more time (if you need it to find a new place).  Good luck.
