My health has improved a little, but I still don't think I can work. But I'm worried the Social Security people will take my SSDI benefits away. Is that even possible? (Posted by Jiffy on The Forum.)
Editor's Response:
That happens, but rarely. In order to take away your SSDI benefits, the Social Security Administration would have to show that your condition has improved so much that it no longer meets the SSA's definition of a disability.
