I'm in the middle of a dispute with an auto mechanic about some damage he did to my car while he was supposed to be making a simple repair. Now the guys attorney is contacting me and offering a ridiculously low offer to make the thing go away, as he puts it. No way. I'm going to send a 93A demand letter but now I'm not sure who to send it to. Should I send it to the attorney or the owner or both.

Although you could send it only to the business owner, because you have been in contact with the attorney, I would send it to the business/owner AND send a copy to the attorney. Follow this link to a thread about the form of the demand letter and about how the 93A letter should be served. You can probably just send the attorney's copy by regular mail. Good luck.
