Tried to beat the traffic on memorial day weekend, got busted and slapped with a $50 ticket, the cop had about 5 people pulled over and I missed my chance to ask him, but does this count as a moving violation for insurance purposes? Thanks for your help.

Given the costs associated with tickets and increased insurane costs, many drivers opt to hire a Massachusetts driving law attorney to try to get the ticket thrown out. Good luck.

What exactly did the Trooper cite you for? What is the Chapter / Section or CMR listed on the citation? That particular violation could be written up a couple of different ways and exactly how the citation was written will determine whether or not you’ll be getting surcharged.
