The big day is almost here and I'm wondering what I should bring when I go to my SSDI application interview. I'm a bit freaked about this and want to make sure I have everything I need. So here is what I have so far. I have (1) all my most recent medical records and those going back since before my injury. (2) My birth certificate and social security card. A card with the names, numbers and addresses of all my doctors. (3) A list of all my current medications. And (4) my description of my disability and how it limits my ability to work. (I think I can read from this or just give it to the examiner if I have to.) So can you think of anything else I should bring? Thanks.

Social Security Disability Interview
That's a good list. I would focus on the items listed in the Social Security Disability Checklist provided to you and make sure you bring a picture ID, like a driver's license. If you don't have one, you may have to answer some questions to establish your identification. Your birth certificate should be a certified copy. You should bring information about the type of employment you have held for the last 15 years. Finally, you may want to bring documentation regarding your financial situation.
