When your claim is sent to the Quality Branch, it is not necessarily a bad thing. At either the initial application or reconsideration stage, applications are randomly sent to the Disability Quality Branch for review, without regard to whether the claim has been approved or denied. Being selected does not necessarily mean your application is in trouble. In theory, the Branch is supposed to review the decision made by the disability examiner and determine whether all rules and evidence were applied and considered appropriately.
