I received a 14 day notice to vacate my apartment for non-payment of rent. I was unable to pay the amount due with the 10 days. What should my next step be. I assume I should write a letter to the landlord, but am unsure that t write.
The total rent due on the 14 day notice is wrong. It is listed $375 per month + $50 late fee bringing the total due for each month to $425. The total due, according to the letter from my landlord's attorney. My rent is actually $1375 + $50 if it's late. Should I pay the amount the lawyer has as the total rent due to possibly get a little more time?
Thank you.
