If someone is in a car accident but doesn't get medical help immediately does that hurt his case if he decides to sue the other driver later on? In my case I was OK for several weeks but then I started having a lot of neck problems that my chiropractor tells me are very serious and might have been caused by the accident. Any thoughts?

Well, I obviously know nothing about your injury or the merits of your case, so let me answer the question in general terms: Probably not, especially if you are talking about a matter of days or weeks before seeking help. It is not uncommon for certain injuries, especially spinal and soft tissue injuries to manifest a bit after an accident. However, you should seek help as soon as you become aware of the pain, both for your physical well-being and because you do not want to make it easy for the other driver and his insurance company to claim that your injury was not related to the accident. Good luck. For more information, visit our Massachusetts Personal Injury Discussion Forum.
