I am a professional artist/designer in Boston. On November 8th 2008, I happened to be driving down 93 and a truck displaying my original artwork as its logo passed me. I nearly crashed! I have contacted a very large intellectual rights firm in Boston and was kindly advised to work with a pro-bono arts lawyer group in Massachusetts as the expenses for such a large firm are huge. At the time, My wife and I were in such a financial situation I couldn't afford the $50 fee for the application to work with the group.
Now my wife and I are in a much better financial position, and I would like to pursue the case. Am I too late? The company using my design was incredibly, incredibly mean and personally insulting to me when I called to ask why they were using my design without permission, and I really don't want them to get away with it. The company still uses my design as their logo, on their website, and on all their trucks.

Editor's Response
It's been less than a year since you discovered the infringement, so I would assume the statute of limitations has not run. However, don't wait on this. Go ahead and contact an attorney who does intellectual property law in Massachusetts and confirm this with him or her. Good luck.
Thank you, I have filled out
