I have had some drug and trespass activity on my property. I have posted signs on my property to discourage such activity. My neighbor says he wants them down because they are offensive. Does he have any say to what I place on my property? This is a single family house in a residential neighborhood.

No Trespassing signs

Unless you live in a community with a homeowners association or your town has some ordinance on point, you are free to post a no trespassing sign.  As you may know, local police will often ask property owners to post no trespassing signs before they get involved in dealing with the trespasser.

I don't know how many signs you have posted, but you might want to cut down on the number to improve neighborly relations.  For notice purposes, one or two signs is sufficient.  And, frankly, no matter how many no trespassing signs you post, the drug dealers are not going to care.  Good luck.
