I'm trying to find a lawyer now to talk to about a car accident I was in several weeks ago. I've got some serious pain in my upper back and I'm going to sue and I told my insurance agent that I'm going to sue. I had a message on my machine today from a woman who says she works with my automobile insurance company and she asked me to call and talk to her. Should I do that?

I wouldn't. If she calls back you can listen to what she has to say, but I would be very careful about what you say to anyone about your accident (other than your doctor and your lawyer). If she is calling from YOUR insurer, and not the insurer of the potential defendant, you may provide information relevant to the processing of the claim. Certainly do not agree to sign any documents. If you have been injured because of the negligence of another person, find a lawyer, and let her do your talking. For more information about this subject, see our post about what to do after an accident.
