What MA laws pertain to the repair/maintenance of a shared exterior masonry roof wall between two homes?
I'm trying to find out who should be responsible for what percentage of cost, and who hires the contractor?
Property A has two chimneys attached to this wall. Property B has the back side facing of said chimney and there is a middle section in between that is pulling towards Property A because one of those chimney's is in disrepair.
Can Property B be fixed independently without having to help pay for Property A who has more significant damage, and may be the one that is the cause.
