Does Massachusetts law allow me to sue a woman and my employer for sexual harassment at work (I am also a woman)? Posted by angrygirl on The Forum.

Editor's Response:

Absolutely.  However, you should talk to an attorney who does this type of litigation before taking any action, not only to help you understand if the 'harassing behavior' justifies legal action, but also to tell you what preliminary steps you may have to take.  For example, if the harasser is a co-worker, rather than a supervisor, and you also wish to sue the employer, you may need to report the harassment first and give the employer a chance to rectify the situation.
