Servicemembers Civil Relief Act

My wife and I were being sued in district court for a joint debt in both our names. The Plaintiff dismissed it against me specifically citing the fact I was on Active Duty. They are now pursuing the case only against my wife.

Section 513 Servicemembers Civil Relief Act Protection of persons secondarily liable States: "(a) Extension of protection when actions stayed, postponed, or suspended. Whenever pursuant to this Act a court stays, postpones, or suspends (1) the enforcement of an obligation or liability, (2) the prosecution of a suit or proceeding, (3) the entry or enforcement of an order, writ, judgment, or decree, or (4) the performance of any other act, the court may likewise grant such a stay, postponement, or suspension to a surety, guarantor, endorser, accommodation maker, comaker, or other person who is or may be primarily or secondarily subject to the obligation or liability the performance or enforcement of which is stayed, postponed, or suspended."

I cant find more information related to SCRA 513 online. But they way I read it the Court MAY dismiss the case against my wife as well? Is there a way to find more information or case law related to this? I cant afford to hire an attorney.

Thanks
Army Guy

I found this page that seems

I found this page that seems to have a lot of information.  It took a while to load on my browser, but seems fairly authoritative, with citations.  Sorry I can't help you out, but I know nothing of this area of the law.  Good luck.
