I just moved out after completing full term on my lease, staying in the apartment for 2 years. My landlord is not returning my security deposit saying he needs to fix the old and peeling silicone in the bathroom and apply a new one. Can he charge me for the same. Also, I never received a Statement of Condition from him or a statement of accounts depositing my security deposit in a separate bank account.
Would appreciate I anyone can throw some light. The apartment lease is in Massachusetts.
