Roof Damage caused by Fire at Neighbors Home

MA Real Estate Law Questions and Answers

My neighbors home was destroyed by a fire. My home experienced damage to my roof and exterior siding. My home owners insurance is prorating my roof replacement cost and other repairs needed.
Can I file a claim with the other home owners insurance or do I have to file a Law Suit with the Insurance company or the owner of the property.
