Responsbility of Condo Association?

Weymouth

1 post
6-Aug-2008
4:03 PM My Weymouth condo was flooded in January, 2008, was subsequently gutted by the insurance company, and now sits awaiting the condo association's repair of structural problems which occurred after the unit was gutted (i.e., the front door no longer closes, sunlight is coming in through the concrete block wall since the sheetrock was removed due to structural settling.)

Condo Board member will give me no information about who has looked at the unit's structural problems. A structural engineer inspected the unit in April (I attended), but the Board will not cooperate at all with forwarding a copy of that report or others they claim to have (I was never contacted about other inspectors).

PLEASE HELP! I am now out $7,000 in rental income, and I don't believe the condo members would be living in a hotel seven months later with no end in sight.
