Reschedule Civil Contempt Hearing

I brought a motion for civil contempt against my daughter's father for non-payment of child support. The sheriff has been trying to serve him but has not been successful. The hearing is in 6 days. How do I reschedule/postpone the hearing in Middlesex County?
