Hi,

So I'm a payee for my father. I really let him use his money for whatever he wants after bills are paid.

I just got the report form and as you know it's asking questions about where the money went.

I have some questions I couldn't find on here. He did receive a larger back pay amount which made his total earnings on SSD higher than what he normally would receive in a normal year. After his bills and clothing needs, the money extra money spent I guess is not accountable. Guess you could say frugal spending?? So now after the year he has a significant lower amount than what he received in the year. Basically no saving. How is SS going to look at this? As it's bad he went through almost all his normal pay and back pay? And after his bills were paid and he asked for money I would give it to him and there's really no way in determining what the money was exactly spent on. He did go on a small vacation, is this bad?

Are there possibilities he could get his ssd taken away?

I feel this form is to probe for the worst.

He just got approved for Medicare but before this he way paying for medication from someone close. Inhalers and such. Can this be included even though it wasn't bought thru insurance and prescribed since he had no insurance

Also, taxes were not taken out and it has to be paid back, can it be paid back in installments. What if the tax form isn't filled on time?

He's scared now he will lose his SSD benefits for doing extra spending after his bills paid and we have no way to track cause it was given to him in cash
