paternity and child support when father location no known

I need to file for child support. I went to the SPFLD court house to find out how much it would cost and what I needed. I need the fathers address so the court can serve him with the papers. I called the father's lawyer and she refuses to give me his address, now what do I do? How am I to file?

Child support Help from DOR

Have you contacted the Massachusetts Department of Revenue?  (800-332-2733)  The DOR is typically able to search for parents by reviewing databases available to them.  If you believe there may be ongoing issues with the father related to child support or other matters (as he and his attorney do not seem to be cooperating with you) you might want to consult with a Massachusetts divorce and family law attorney.  Good luck.
