We have a no compete contract set up for individuals who rent space from us. In it states if they leave or get fired, they cannot solicit clients via email, phone or mail for a period of one year. Their cllents are on a calendar in the common area with their phone numbers listed, but lately I have noticed they are using a private calendar writing the names and phone numbers, emails, etc. of these clients as well. We are a tattoo studio and some of their clients we have given them based on experience and some have come to them as they've built their own clientel. Where it gets complicated is neither of us are keeping exactly where these clients are coming from. So my question is when they cease their time with us, is it our right to request their private calanders/journal per the contract they signed with us regardless of where the client came from?
