I heard today that the Mayor of that city has placed a new law that if more than 5 people are standing on a sidewalk anywhere in the city, they will all be arrested. This includes bars, restaurants,etc..
Now I think that this law is bogus and unenforceable. Correct me if I am wrong but if you have a family out to eat and the husband leaves his wife and 3 kids at the table to go for a smoke, your telling me he can be arrested??
It would be my understanding that the Mayor can only enforce laws that are on the books now and not create new ones.
Anyone have an answer for this?? Thanks in advance..
