I have ran on tough times and have one judgment against me already. I am being sued right now for a debt that is not mine and I have said this the first time I was sued by the same debt collector. This has been going on over a year and they keep playing games and I am tired of it and just want it to end.
Seeing as I denied the debt in court already, can I file bankruptcy and include a debt that I denied was mine? Will I have to wait till this case is over, be it if I win or if they win and get a judgment? I want a fresh start and this is the only thing that is stopping me.
