I Bought this house in '96.. and lived there until 10/08 with boyfriend...we shared bills...I moved out and he is living there giving me money for the mortgage and bills...and he has paid half the taxes...so he can stay there...he wants to buy it from me..says he is saving for downpayment...does he have any rights to my house...I know there is no Common Law Marriage...and I was married in NH last month...but worried.... does he have any legal hold on the property where I am not living there and he is? Worried.....

Barring some written contract, given the facts you describe, it is highly unlikely he has any right to all or part of the house. He may make an argument that he is a tenant of some sort, but that would only require you to follow the steps needed to evict a tenant-at-will. Good luck.

Can I move back into the house and ask him to move out? Would that help the possible issue of tenant and move things along...
So if there is a question of him being a tenant...is he paying rent?...and should I add that to my income...making no profit..but he gives to me to put towards bills...
