Mother of children was overpaid by SSI. Please Help!

MA Social Security Disability (SSDI) Law Questions and Answers

Hi Everyone,

Long story short! The mother of my children come to find out has been overpaid SSI benefits for 6 years. I now found out that my children are responsible for this if she died tomorrow. I need to fill out a form 561 and state reasons why I don't believe they should be liable for the overpayment.

Is there any advice someone could give me??
