Most common consumer complaints in Massachusetts

Here is an interesting bit of information:  Boston.com recently compiled a list of the top consumer complaints received by the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations.  At the top of the list: home improvement contractors.  Not a big surprise.  Also not very surprising, given the state of the economy, "foreclosure assistance programs" broke in to the list at number 5, and "loan modification schemes" appears at number 7 on the list.  Rounding out the top ten: (2) auto insurance, (3) health insurance, (4) lemon law/automobiles, (6) time share resellers, (8) deceptive advertising, (9) fake check scams, and (10) new car dealers (usually dealing with auto service and warranty fulfillment).
