Can anyone tell me if this qualifies as investigative experience towards a Mass Private Detective License?
As far as experience is concerned, a Mass Private Detective License calls for
"You must have at least three years of investigative experience or 10 years as a police officer, unless you held a rank above patrolman, in which case you would need three years experience as a police officer with a rank above patrolman. You must be of good moral character. Three reputable citizens must sign the back of your application to certify that you are of good moral character. You cannot have had any felony convictions."
One law on the Mass Constable
MGL Chap 41 Sec 98
The chief and other police officers of all cities and towns shall have all the powers and duties of constables except serving and executing civil process
If the applicant has 3 years experience as a Constable, does this qualify?
For the purpose of a Mass Private Detective License, is the "rank" of a Mass Constable higher or lower than that of a "Patrolman"?
