In-laws holding personal belongings.

MA Real Estate Law Questions and Answers

Me and my girlfriend decided to move out of her parents house but her mother decided we cannot move our belongings out. She stated that anything she bought for her daughter she could not have and as for my things i couldnt have any of it. Is there any kind of law against this and what is the best way to start trying to get our things back from them.
