Landlord asking tenant to show property for sale

As a tenant am I obligated to show the property for sale? The landlord/realtor lives far away and is pressuring me to be available to show the home to prospective buyers and buyers agents.

I've indicated that I'm not comfortable with this arrangement, as I do not want to be held liable for anything that is said or inferred while buyers are looking at the unit.

Any input would be helpful!

Showing apartment to prospective tenants

You are certainly not obligated to act as the landlord's agent.  However, you are required to allow the landlord (or his agent) to show the apartment at reasonable times and with reasonable notice.
