MA Real Estate Law Questions and Answers

Hello, I own lake-front property on a private lake and belong to a Lake Association which pays to treat weeds and maintain a dam and a small beach. My deed does not specify that I have to belong to this association. If I decide to not pay association dues, can the lake association prevent me from using the lake for boating and swimming? Thank you!
