I live in a mobile home park in central Massachusetts and my landlord (owner of the park) is making up all kinds of new rules. I think he just wants me to move. Now he says I can't keep my snake in my home. Can he do that?

Editor's Response

No.  The area of mobile home living is regulated by Massachusetts General Laws Chapter140, Sections 32A-32S.  In addition, there are many regulations that come into play.  For example, 940 C.M.R. 10.04(10) prohibits owners of mobile home parks (also known as 'manufactured homes') from prohibiting pets that live entirely within the home (as long as the pet in question in not prohibited by some other Massachusetts law or regulation).  Good luck, and please tell your friends about The Forum.
