Is it possible to get Child Support from husband after he has moved out in Massachusetts? I have been told a number of different answers. Some have told me that I can not unless I either file for Separate Support or Divorce. Both seem to be a expensive process. Is it possible to not file for either of the two and just file for child support?

The answer that it is possible to get child support. To get child support you need to get a court order. The only way to get a court order is to file a complaint for divorce or a complaint for support/custody/visitation. The child support is based on the guidelines.
