I am wondering what the rule is on items that are incorrectly priced--I was at Walmart and an item rang-in higher that it should have--is there a law that states that I should have gotten that item for free because it rang in higher than it actually was? Thanks

Hello. I am not aware of any such law in Massachusetts. Several chains have price accuracy guarantees, however, and give the consumer the item for free if it is incorrectly priced. Generally, MA relies on inspections by state officials to find inaccurate pricing and to fine stores as appropriate. Good luck, and please tell your friends about The Forum
