I just went to a job interview and was asked if I have ever been convicted of a crime. Isn't that kind of questions illegal in MA?  Posted on The Forum by Yeller.

Editor's Response:

No.  However, under federal and Massachusetts law, prospective employers cannot ask you if you have ever been arrested.  It is also illegal to ask questions about marital status, whether you have or plan to have children, sexual orientation, and where or in what country were you born.
