I am an agent who is leaving my company but they owe me $$

MA Real Estate Law Questions and Answers

I am a commercial real estate agent in MA. I plan on leaving my company this month, but still have outstanding commission receivables.

These commissions are due from deals that are closed. I have invoiced my clients but my company has not yet received payment.

The question is, if I leave my company now, will I still be entitled to collect my portion of the commission if it is payed after I leave the company?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.
