Is there some limit to the number of years I can collect Social Security Disability? I have already had it for 6 years and still think I need it. Thanks

No, there is no automatic or pre-set limit for SSDI benefits. You can continue to receive SSDI for as long as you are unable to work because of your disability, something the SSA will want to verify periodically. Eventually, if you are still unable to work when you reach retirement age, your SSDI benefits will be converted to Social Security Retirement benefits.
