Can our landlord require us in our lease to buy our heating oil from a specific oil company? This particular heating oil company seems to cost much more than its competitors and there is no contract for furnace maintenance between this heating oil company and our landlord. Thanks!

Something is missing here. These clauses are inserted in leases when there is a service contract OR when it is relevant to some warranty provision for the furnace/installation. Why would the landlord care where you buy your oil unless there is some reason? In any case, if you signed the lease with the clause requiring you to buy from one dealer, I would not breach that term until talking to the landlord.
