I was arrested for OUI and think I might lose my license. My friend told me Massachusetts law will still allow me to drive to work. Is that so? Posted by Bright23 on The Forum:

Maybe. Massachusetts law allows the RMV to issue what is known as a hardship or work license in some cases. This limited license allows those with revoked licenses to drive for up to 12 hours a day for going to and from work. Usually, the RMV will require some period of suspension before a person can apply for a hardship license, and the length of this period will vary depending on the reason for the revocation of the license.
