If I do not have an FID card and I have a photograph of myself holding a friends legal, registered AK-47 at their house can I be summonced to court for it and be charged with anything? I had a police officer tell me I could be summonced and then he began questioning me as to who the town drug dealers and etc are. Basically,he's trying to blackmail me with the threat of a gun charge if I do not provide him with information. I understand the legality of what he is doing is borderline/unethical but can I get in trouble for the gun charge? If not I'm going to tell him to screw because it is not fair what he is attempting to do to me.

Gun Laws

To prove a case of possession of a firearm the Commonwealth must show, among other things, that you possessed the gun and that the item was a firearm. To prove that the item is a firearm the Commonwealth must show it is capable of discharging a shot or a bullet and that it is not defective or damaged. The Commonwealth may have a difficult time proving the firearm you allegedly possessed was in working order.

It is difficult to give a definitive answer without knowing all of the evidence the police have against you. My advice would be to hire an attorney to represent you and deal with the police on your behalf.
