A person of foreign origin is visiting US for six months and is eager to rent my property. Should I sign a rental lease with a foreigner? If he breaks the lease and leave the country will it be easy for me to pursue him to his home country for my unpaid rent and other damages, if any?

I would never suggest that anyone should discriminate against applicants from other countries. But to answer you question directly, it is hard enough (expensive and time consuming) trying to collect a judgment from someone who lives in your town. Trying to collect from a person who has moved to another country would be prohibitively expensive and extremely difficult.
