Filling Small Claims after Harrasment Order

I am helping out my sister in-law. She had loaned $650 to a friend, she had a agreement written out that they had both signed. Since then there has been I guess you can say a 'falling out'. Her now former friend filed a harrassment protection order against my sister in-law (we don't think it will stick as it was all based off false information)

The problem is she has moved since the 'falling out' and my sister in-law no longer knows her current address, and the harrassment order doesn't have it on there for normal reasons.

Any suggestions on what to do in order to file since we need the address?? The clerk's office said we can file even if there is a no harrassment order which helps. We do know her mother's address but don't beleive she is actually living there.

(I was thinking if the court could have it sent to the address listed on the harrassment order and just not put that address on my sister in-laws copy).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Service in Small Claims Court

Sorry, but I have no idea if the clerks at Small Claims Court will do that for you.   You can ask, but I doubt it.  If not, although it is certainly not ideal, if you have a good faith belief that the person lives there, you can always try service at the mother's address and see if "friend" shows up at court.  If you are willing to spend a bit of time and/or money on it, follow this link for some information about locating a defendant for a small claims court action.  Good luck.
