I was employed via a temporary agency that is based in California to work for a company in Boston. The Boston company made all the arrangements and they are the only people I had dealt with prior to working. I worked from 6/23/10 through 7/2/10. I received a check for the 6/23-6/25, but I have not been paid for 6/28-7/2. How long does an employer have to pay an employee?

Sounds like you need to look at California law. For Massachusetts law, see MA General Laws Chapter 149: Section 148.
