I'm evicting my tenants and they've called the health inspector who has cited the apartment with violations.
I did an inspection 2 days prior to the inspection. But that was a huge debacle as the tenants were refusing to allow me to enter, only when they had entered the home and we had a police escort did they allow me to enter.
I've already given them notice about entering the apartment again to fix the apartment. (before the inspector had come by). But I fear that they might barr entry into the apartment again to claim that I never made emergency repairs.
Since these are emergency repairs how will it look to the judge if the repairs aren't made but they aren't allowing me to enter?

It wouldn't hurt to have a witness, someone who can come with you to court and testify that you tried to make the repairs. Typically what happens in this situation is that the judge (or the housing specialist) will work out a series of dates and times to do the repairs.
